Vestiges
Installation Print
40"x18"
Ink, Colored Pencil on Paper

This paper sculpture attempts to combine analyses of structure with immaterial associations. Using a combination of printmaking and traditional drawing, Vestiges inverts preconceived ideas regarding interior and exterior. Here, a patterened depiction of bodies encompasses scenes showing daily life at home. Typically, one might associate those scenes as encompassing a person, however this piece allows for the body to encapsulate these actions and memories. When unfolded, the body acts as a vessel containing each illustration.
