This paper sculpture is meant to represent the tangled web of information that accumulates in one’s life, especially in education. Each strip comes from a different source of notes, reminders, and assignments cut into pieces and woven into a blanket-like textile that encompasses every bit one needs to remember. The individual units blur and become intangible as more knowledge and tasks pile on until only the barest hint of a memory remains. This work illustrates the monotony of the constant drive for productivity and the overwhelming nature of data compilation.
